Parental Control On dstv

With the Parental Control Pin Code, you can limit the type of
viewing your children have access to. The default Pin is 1234. It is
advisable to select your own Pin Code. If you happen to lose your
Pin Code, you can contact the Customer Care.
To access this feature, go to [Services] on the TV Guide or
Press [MENU] and Select [Parental Control] and Press [OK]
A security check screen is displayed. Enter your Pin Code. A sub-
menu is displayed for you to select the desired parental control
option.
Blocking Options include:
No Block – This feature does not block any programme or service
Total Block – Blocks all programs and services (Decoder is blocked
from all use)
Parental Guidance – Allows you to specify the permitted viewing.
Select the appropriate level.
Note: After 5 incorrect Pin attempts the Pin is locked and you
would have to call the Customer Care to unlock it again.
